Rising token prices, outages during storms and pumps that stop when the grid goes down are familiar frustrations across the county, and solar installation in Kiambu addresses all three, whether you run a home in Kiambu Town, an apartment block in Ruiru, a school near Limuru or a farm with a borehole in the countryside.

Nerpax Systems is Kiambu-based and designs each solar system from your real consumption, not a one-size package. We look at your bills or token history, essential appliances, roof space and orientation, then size panels, inverter and batteries. We supply, mount and wire everything safely, connect it to your board, commission it and show you how to monitor output.

Hybrid systems that cut bills and provide backup
Off-grid systems for remote plots and farms

Kiambu's cooler, cloudier highland areas still suit solar well when systems are sized with the weather in mind. See local pages for Kikuyu, Kirigiti and Thika, or book a site visit to size your system.

Serving Kiambu

Kiambu is home ground for Nerpax Systems, with our base in the Kikuyu area. The county stretches from fast-growing satellite towns such as Ruiru, Juja and Ruaka to tea estates around Limuru, dairy farms in Githunguri and the factories of Thika. That mix shapes the work: rental blocks and student hostels need CCTV, intercoms and well-planned wiring, family homes in new estates want automated gates and electric fencing, and farms far from the main roads lean on solar pumping and backup power when the grid drops. Contractors building across the county also need materials delivered and panels fitted on schedule. We supply, install and deliver throughout Kiambu.

Solar Installation in Kiambu: FAQs

Does solar work in the cooler, cloudier parts of Kiambu?

Yes. Panels respond to light rather than heat, and they still produce power on overcast days, although less. In highland areas we size the panels and batteries with cloudy months in mind, and hybrid systems draw on the grid when solar output is low.

Can solar power a farm or borehole in rural Kiambu?

Yes. Solar pumping systems suit boreholes and irrigation, often filling a storage tank during the day. Off-grid systems can power farm buildings, lighting and security where the grid is far away or unreliable. We size the system to your water and power needs.

How much roof space do I need for solar?

It depends on the size of system you need. A small backup system needs only a few panels, while a system covering most of a home's daytime use needs more space. We measure your roof during the survey and confirm what will fit.
