Estate guards at the main entrance cannot see your back boundary, garden or staff gate, so CCTV installation in Runda is about covering the part of a large plot that is your own responsibility.

Nerpax surveys the full perimeter, driveway, outbuildings and entry points. Long boundaries often need a mix of cameras: wide coverage for the perimeter, detailed cameras at gates and doors, and options with intelligent detection that alert you to a person crossing a line rather than every moving leaf.

We supply and install the cameras and recorder, run cabling neatly across the grounds, and set up remote viewing so you can check the home while travelling. For households with tenants or staff, separate access levels can be configured.

Serving Runda

Runda is a gated residential area off Kiambu Road and the Northern Bypass, close to Gigiri and the United Nations offices. Homes sit on large, landscaped plots behind high walls, which suits layered security: electric fencing on the perimeter, CCTV covering gates and gardens, intruder alarms and automated gates with remote access. Many households also run boreholes and want quiet, reliable backup through solar, inverters or generators. Nerpax Systems serves Runda with supply, installation and delivery of complete systems.

CCTV Installation in Runda: FAQs

Can CCTV on a large Runda plot send alerts only for people, not animals or trees?

Yes. Cameras and recorders with human and vehicle detection can filter out most movement from trees, shadows and small animals. We set detection zones carefully so alerts on your phone are meaningful. Night-time alerts can also be scheduled so you are only notified when it matters.

How do you run CCTV cables across a big compound?

We use outdoor-rated cable in conduit, buried or fixed along walls, with junction boxes at each camera. For very long distances, fibre or wireless bridges may be used. We plan routes during the survey to avoid damaging landscaping.
